Adelaide University Research Projest - Request for volunteers

A PhD student at Adelaide University is conducting research into gender and well being and is seeking volunteers to participate .  This activity is for people as individuals and is associated with Shed management.  Shud you wish to participate the details are as follows:

Danielle Herreen a PhD/Master of Psychology (Clinical) student at the University of Adelaide is conducting a research project exploring the relationship between gender roles and wellbeing across the lifespan, with a particular focus on older males.

The survey asks participants to rate the extent to which they’ve experienced certain feelings and behaviours over the past few weeks, as well as their level of agreement with common statements about what it means to be a man or a woman. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete and there is the option to enter the draw to win one of three $150 EFTPOS gift cards.

The information collected in this study may help to improve our understanding of how mental health symptoms differ for men and women across the lifespan, ultimately leading to better recognition and diagnosis of mental health problems.

Please let Danielle know if you are willing to participate and she will send through a short bl with the link to the online study.  Shed does not need to be informed if you participate.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Danielle via email ( or via phone (+61 8 8303 8812).
