Shed as it stands

BBQ breakfast is this SAturday at 8am, be late and you might get to suck on lamb bones.

This is the special event Gordon has arranged. Cost is $10. Sure he can squeeze anyone in who forgot to book.

What makes for a good meat meal flyer can be downloaded here for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Second item.  THE SHED IS NOW OPEN THURSDAY MORINGS TOO. Usual times usual place. Come along and encourage others to come to the extra day.

Third item: At the AGM the question of insurance for the Shed and its members was questioned. Mark has had an answer:

I have received the following answer from Tim Williams, Manager Insurance NSW and ACT of Baptist Insurance Services in regards to the questions regarding insurance cover for projects conducted external to the shed but on the shed site, and projects where we move a completed work from the shed site to another location.

In relation to the Men's Shed, the physical shed and the ministry activities that are carried out within the shed are covered by the church insurance cover. Saying that, approved ministry activities that are carried out outside of the shed are also covered under the church insurance cover. This includes things like the delivery of the refurbished Train & Cubby House and approved future ministry projects.
