Shed as it stands

Opening Hours

As of this week I will be officially opening the Shed on Thursdays from 9:30 till at least Lunch time maybe longer depending on how slow the CNC Machine is operating. Thursdays will not be a quiet day! We don't want to stop the CNC in mid operation, so Smoko is not so formal. Grab a coffee and talk loud with hearing protection on is pretty much the go most of the morning. We still have a good chat and carry on but whispering will not be tolerated!

Other News

We are now in possession of the vacuum unit for our dust extraction system. It's a twin bag 3 phase 5 horse power unit, if I have my facts straight and will more than meet our needs. So we now have a project to install the system. This included the interior ducting, the concrete plinth outside to sit the unit on and the shed to enclose it. So if you're looking for something to do along those lines let Gordon know. I know he already have volunteers for the concreting.

For Sale

We have now completed restoration of the garden bench shown in the photos below. The bench has cast iron legs and the seat is Pacific Jarrah. This seat is not going to blow away in the wind, and the wood will outlast most of the guys who restored it.

We are looking for offers over $200, bidding will stay open till the end of Jan 2015. If not sold it will be offered for sale on Gumtree.

Please send me your bids(Howie - or questions and I will put out an update out on the bids closer to the end of Jan to give you chance to rebid.

One more quick one (yes asking for more volunteers) anyone want to help out with a new saw bench???? It needs to be portable so something along the lines of this one would be great......
