How Do I Join

Becoming a member is simple, and you’re welcome to visit us first.

Drop into the Shed during opening hours and speak with the Duty Officer. They’ll be happy to show you around, explain what we do, point out all the facilities we have, and answer any questions.

Our members are a friendly and welcoming group who value companionship, practical skills, and community connection. Whether you are an experienced maker, keen to learn something new, or simply looking to meet people and get involved, you’ll find a supportive place at Belconnen Community Men’s Shed.

If you decide to join, payment of the annual membership fee ($75 for men and $40 for women) is required. We’ll then guide you through our Code of Conduct and general shed safety.

Before using a tool or machine, you’ll be shown the relevant procedures to help ensure you can complete your projects safely.

We also welcome members who attend with an assistant or carer. If this applies to you, both you and your support person are warmly welcome at Belconnen Community Men’s Shed.
